Rules of the road
Well, I’m now a licensed driver in North Carolina. After taking the computer test at the DMV three times – yes, three – I finally passed. Third time’s a charm! At least it didn’t take me 16 tries, like it did someone else, the DMV employee told me.
But I took issue with the test because it asked some silly questions, like why it’s bad if a car has a leaky exhaust. I don’t know and don’t feel like I should have to know; that’s what the mechanic is for. I also tend to overthink things, and spent too much time stressing about certain questions instead of choosing the simplest answer.
But, I passed, so it’s all over. Sigh.

I haven’t updated the blog lately because I’ve been busy at work and taking care of things like, ahem, driver’s license issues. I’m currently the only reporter for the Herald and it’s a bit stressful.
